Supporting local businesses - it's a big deal

As the year draws to a close and I have a chance to reflect on the year passed and the growth of Fenix Candle Co. I am fill with gratitude to all my customers, new and loyal, and to my many supporters who have provided such great feedback, suggestions and encouragement this year and helped grow the business in more ways than one. A few special thanks to call out; Jeremy for being my No1 fan, Anya for being my most loyal customer, the small business owners at @ritaandfranks creative co-working space for inspiration and laughter, and to all the fellow local business owners at @artisans_alley_mornington for their passion to support local.

Speaking of supporting local. I was very fortunate to get a grant from the Mornington Peninsula Shire who does such a great job to support and promote local businesses. This grant enabled me to invest some much needed funds in raising the profile of Fenix Candle Co creating higher quality of digital content to attract a new customer base and engage with loyal customers and fans. The funds helped me tap into two local talents - designer Beth Ramsey and photographer Michelle Bolitho who have helped raise the profile and bring the Fenix Candle Co brand story and product to life.

It's been a big year for us an so many of other local business here one the Mornington Peninsula - thank you to you all who support us and keep coming back and allows local business to flourish.
